Click here to read an article on how to protect yourself from sunburns: SUN PROTECTION

Sunburns are awful.? They are always painful and tend to occur on places like the back of my legs which makes doing everyday activities, such as sitting down, an ordeal. I had one sunburn on my arms which became particularly itchy and I had to walk around the house flapping them like a chicken because the breeze I created made the sunburn feel better.

The article says that one really bad sunburn is enough to cause skin cancer.? I?m obviously not questioning the validity of this statement, but I?m willing to guess that multiple really bad sunburns increase your chances of skin cancer even more.? This entire thing is to say that I?m not going to stand on my pedestal and lecture you about how stupid you are to get sunburned.? You are human, and sometimes you forget your hat, or you miss a spot, or you finish that game of frisbee before reapplying sunscreen, and sometime the weather report says it?s going to be rainy and cloudy and it?s a beautiful (very) sunny day.

So we do our best.? We remember to wear our women?s baseball caps when it?s sunny (if you have your Madcapz it won?t be difficult to remember to wear it).? We wear sunscreen, and reapply? it often.? We sit in the shade whenever possible.

How do you protect yourself against the sun?? Any sunburn horror stories?
